• 1 Nephi 19:13-14…Those from Jerusalem are scourged, hissed and hated (and become a byword) by all people because they crucified the Son of God
• 2 Nephi 29: 6…Don’t make fun of the Jews. Thanks to them we have the Bible
• 3 Nephi 29: 8…Don’t make fun of the Jews, the Lord still remembers His covenants with them
• 1 Nephi 19: 13…Jews crucified Christ b/c they rejected signs, wonders, power & glory of God
• 1 Nephi 19: 14…Jews are a hiss & a byword among all nations until they accept Christ
• 1 Nephi 19: 15…When they accept Christ, God will remember covenants made with them
• 2 Nephi 25: 12…Jews reject Christ b/c (1) Sins (2) Hardness of hearts (3) Stiffneckedness
• 2 Nephi 25: 15-17…Jews punished & dispersed until they believe in Christ

• 2 Nephi 10: 6…Jews are persecuted & scattered today
• 2 Nephi 25: 18…The only true Messiah is the one that the Jews will reject
• 2 Nephi 30: 7…The Jews will believe in Christ and will become a delightful people
• Jacob 4: 14…  But behold, the Jews were a stiffnecked people; and they despised the words of plainness, and killed the prophets, and sought for things that they could not understand. Wherefore, because of their blindness, which blindness came by looking beyond the mark, they must needs fall; for God hath taken away his plainness from them, and delivered unto them many things which they cannot understand, because they desired it. And because they desired it God hath done it, that they may stumble.

• “Edith Stein was a woman of Jewish birth who became an atheist by age fourteen, earned a doctorate degree, later converted to Catholicism at age thirty, then wrote a number of theological treatises including “The Prayer of the Church.” At age forty-two, Edith entered the Carmel of Cologne as a nun, and four years later fled to the Carmel at Echt (Holland) to escape Nazi persecution of Jews. While in Holland she wrote: “The thought that we have . . . no lasting home is always with me. I have no other wish than that God’s Will should be accomplished in me. How long I am to be here depends on Him. As to what will happen then, it is not for me to concern myself. But it is necessary to pray much, in order to remain faithful come what may.” At age fifty-one she was arrested, transported to Auschwitz, and executed in August 1942 for faithfulness to her Jewish heritage and opposition to the Nazi cause. • 2 Nephi 10: 3…  Wherefore, as I said unto you, it must needs be expedient that Christ—for in the last night the angel spake unto me that this should be his name—should come among the Jews, among those who are the more wicked part of the world; and they shall crucify him—for thus it behooveth our God, and there is none other nation on earth that would crucify their God.
• 2 Nephi 10: 4 -6… 4  For should the mighty miracles be wrought among other nations they would repent, and know that he be their God.  5 But because of priestcrafts and iniquities, they at Jerusalem will stiffen their necks against him, that he be crucified.  6 Wherefore, because of their iniquities, destructions, famines, pestilences, and bloodshed shall come upon them; and they who shall not be destroyed shall be scattered among all nations.
• 2 Nephi 6:11…  Wherefore, after they are driven to and fro, for thus saith the angel, many shall be afflicted in the flesh, and shall not be suffered to perish, because of the prayers of the faithful; they shall be scattered, and smitten, and hated; nevertheless, the Lord will be merciful unto them, that when they shall come to the knowledge of their Redeemer, they shall be gathered together again to the lands of their inheritance
• 2 Nephi, Chapter 33: 14… And you that will not partake of the goodness of God, and respect the words of the Jews, and also my words, and the words which shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the Lamb of God, behold, I bid you an everlasting farewell, for these words shall condemn you at the last day.
